BAD BUSINESS: Dealer's woes lead to an important win

BANKS, PAYMENT PROVIDERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS continue to cause havoc for dealers by denying services, despite previous efforts to fix those problems.
WE INTERVIEWED Adelaide Hills based dealer, Range and Field, about the problems they've been facing - to the point where they are about to get political.
SINCE RECORDING this episode, we asked the ANZ bank to provide a copy of the policy it was relying on.  They have not only come back to deny the policy, but will provide Range and Field with banking services. They say they will also 'educate' the local branch - and provide Range and Field with EFTPOS facilities.
It's only one battle facing dealers -  but it's good to have won at least this fight.

VICTORIA'S DECISION to buck a parliamentary committee's recommendation to ban duck hunting is not only significant for hunters, but all shooters - wherever they are - and whether they are hunters, target shooters or gun collectors.

The push might come too late to stop Papalia, however if the Nationals manage to get back in with a Coalition majority, in a position of power at the 2025 WA State Election, then WA shooters may get the reprieve they need.

RECOVERY: How the Muckadilla Rifle Club turned things around

WE speak with the Muckadilla Rifle Club in Queensland, which went from 2 to 30 members after changing one of their key divisions.
Now they're picking up roo shooters who are getting the bug for target shooting.
