WE RUN through new laws the Allan Government has introduced which will limit who can use a type of shotgun - using a new policy based on 'opportunistic misuse'.  That's a policy that is now creeping into the world of bolt-action firearms with no limits. We explain why it's bad for shooters - and why the government needs to do more work to improve the way guns are regulated.
To find out more, check out our article by clicking here - and send your email to Minister Anthony Carbines, to tell him why the policy needs to change.

SELF DEFENCE: Ron Sterry was minding his own business at home when he went to the aid of a neighbour who had been stabbed. The police turned their attention to him – even though he was the hero – and ended up taking his firearms licence off him. What happened then drew criticism from the NT's Chief Judge, who wrote to the Police Minister about the matter. We check in with Ron to get the latest from him. Visit politicsreloaded.com

Shooters know they have a political problem. From buybacks to knee-jerk reactions, we cop the lot. Bad policy, bad laws and bad media.

However shooting is arguably the best sport around. It supports wide age groups, offers pathways to international competition, friendships and is a major contributor to our economy.

That's why we need to fight back.  We'll explain what you need to know - and do, as we can all help make the difference we need.

We'll cover the stories that matter and interview the people who can help us get to where we need to be.
